AMEDEO MODIGLIANI, FRANCE (1884-1920). The original of the noble " Woman's Head was created in 1912. He was an Italian artist, painter, and sculptor.

In 1980, daughter Jeanne Modigliani is making use of her "Droit Moral" in the name of taking care of her father's oeuvre. She commissioned 48 bronze copies from a mold of the original stone sculpture at the Fonderie O E Z in Paris, well known for its clientele like François Pompon or Rembrandt Bugatti.
